Fite Nite!Posted by on Saturday, April 17, 2010
It was 7:00pm and K-Mar was standing(in his shorts) with Qiana at the edge of the Lot. The walked to the front of the small crowd. To most of them, K-Mar and R.J. were fighting like dogs so the crowd could bet and win. But to K-Mar, this wasn't about money, R.J., or a challenge to fight. This is for Qiana he thought. "I thought you was gonna stay home an cry...guess you wanna cry in public instead." K-Mar started to walk to R.J. so they could get it over with but Qiana grabbed his arm. "You can't do this! I won't let you!" she pleaded. K-Mar was just as afraid but he'd never let her know. "I'll be ok. I promise." "But R.J.'s done this before and you havn't! Let's just leave!" He let a single tear fall. He knew that there was a possibility that this would be the last time he'd see her. "Just in case you're right and he...you know...take me out..." He kissed her. In this kiss, Qiana felt all of his fear, pain, regret, and anger and yet all of these feelings combined in a long, passionate kiss. "Aww! A good buy kiss. How sweet!" R.J. taunted on. "When you're don't playing with b****es, Imma show you how an a** whoopin goes." K-Mar turned away from Qiana and looked into R.J.'s eyes as if he could see his soul. "I'm ready."
~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~ The first punch thrown hit K-Mar in the jaw. Then a jab to the stomach. Later a kick to his side."Come on K! It's a fight man!" yelled Shane. He hadn't seen a fight since him and Alec fought it out. Shane went to Juvie. Alec went to the hospital for a concussion. He spent three long years in Juvie for that on top of other stuff that built up over time. Alec was at the fight to support K-Mar and Tex was there for R.J. but Shane just wanted to see a real fight. Finally K-Mar kicked R.J. close to his groin. You could see the ounce of pain in R.J.'s eyes but he was invinceble according to his movements. He gave another good punch to K-Mar's jaw and a kick to his stomach. K-Mar fell. "I'll let you get another round o this before I let you jus leave me to do all the work!" He went to Tex. "You can just finish him hombre. He's nothing." R.J. took a drink of the water Tex had for him. "Nah. Can't finish him easy. Guy's got good D. I can't punch him or kick him good enough for him to jus quit." Tex pulled a knife from his pocket. "Then do it for him." Meanwhile, K-Mar was with Alec. His lip was bleeding out like water. Alec cleaned it up and wiped the blood from his shorts too. "Man you defense is perfect but sooner or later, and I prefer sooner, you gotta fight back! And watch him. Tex looks like he has a trick on him." The fight started but this time, K-Mar gave the first hit! After about two minutes, K-Mar was still in good condition when Qiana looked up to cheer for him. But when she did see K-Mar, he was on the ground, screaming in agony. "SOMEONE CALL 911!!!" Alec shouted at the top of his lungs. "HE PULLED...KNIFE!!!!! QIANA...Run...he...kni---" Everyone that was there took off. R.J. and Tex ran behind the crowd. Qiana ran to K-Mar's side and Alec had taken out the knife and set it aside. He'd been stabbed in the side. "C'mon K. You gotta stay awake man. You can't go out on me like this..." Qiana held his hand. "Baby you gotta wake up...please just wake up..." The medics came and all three of them were at the hospital in no time. Alec and Qiana stood outside of K-Mar's room, talking to the police. "It wasn't too deep and the knife is thin but...I don't know..." Qiana turned around. K-Mar still hadn't awaken. She put her hand on the small window in the door. K-Mar's eyes moved, opened a bit, and then looked at her. He smiled, and put his fist over his heart. She understands and whispers her answer: "I love you too."
