"Ok cradle the baby like this...hold it's head. A baby can't support it's own head this early." Shane's mother instructed him on how to hold the realistic baby doll that his younger sister, Mia, loved two years ago. It cried, you had to feed it, change it, give it medicine, hold it right, and everything else. She was 10 years old when she gave it up and she's in 8th grade now.(she'll be in Season 3) All it needed was some batteries and then...viola[vwah lah]! Shane had the perfect "Dad Training" baby. He's had it for 3 days now. He's had to wake up at night to "feed" and "change" it and he even had to cradle it right when it cried. "Mom it's still crying! I suck at this! How am I ever gonna be a good father for my baby?" He plopped down on the couch, still holding the wailing plastic child. His mother sat beside him and rubbed his shoulder. "Calm down, Shane. You'll be a wonderful father. At least you're one of the few teen fathers who care. You have a 'natural father' inside of you. I saw that with how you treated Mia when both of you were little. You used to always tell her to let you plug in the night light because it could shock her and you always wanted to teach her whatever you learned from school. You are naturally a father, but you just have to learn how to apply that nature to someone more dependent and fragile." She nodded towards the toy who Shane was holding perfectly in his arms. The toy had closed it's eyes and was silent. "See? Told you. You're a natural." Shane smiled. "So I'm a natural, huh Ma?" She rolled her eyes. "Don't let it go to your head, boy."

Eli and Grey stayed after basketball practice. "Ight Eli one more three and Imma have to leave." Eli went half court, squared up, and shot the ball. It bounced on the back of the rim and then swish! "I swear! You're good with them threes Eli. You need to join the team next year. Well I'm out. Looks like your girl's here. No basketball babies ight?" Eli laughed and threw the basketball at him. "Shut up and go home, Grey!" Grey left and Jaci walked on the court. Eli tossed her the ball. She turned where she was(the wing) and made a three. "Not bad...for a girl." Eli smirked and walked to her. "I bet I'm better than you." Jaci smiled, now in his arms, up at Eli. "At what? Basketball? Nah." "At anything of course." "Oh we'll just have to see huh?" He tilted her chin up towards him and kissed her. "Now who's better at that?" Eli smiled and kissed her again. "Hmm...I guess you are. Oh well I still have time to practice. But right now we need to get home." Eli laughed. "With the way you drive? You sure we'll make it?" Jaci pushed him and he put his basketball shoes in his bag and put his street shoes on. They walked out of the gym, hand in hand. I don't have to worry about my dad finding us anymore.
