So you get this sore, you know, there, but it doesn't hurt or anything. Then it goes away. You think it's all over but thats when you get a rash on your hands or feet or anywhere. But that goes away too. "Maybe it was just the heat." But then it can get worse:blindness, dementia, and even death. If you've been, you know, passin it around, You might have Syphilis.
So what is it?
 Syphilis is a sexually transmitted disease (STD) caused by the bacterium Treponema pallidum. It has often been called “the great imitator” because so many of the signs and symptoms are indistinguishable from those of other diseases.  Pregnant women with the disease can pass it to the babies they are carrying. Syphilis cannot be spread through contact with toilet seats, doorknobs, swimming pools, hot tubs, bathtubs, shared clothing, or eating utensils.

It's on the rise so please be careful! The best way to stay away from this disease is the same as any other STD: Wait til marriage! But if you claim you can't wait, USE PROTECTION!!!
